Our blog tells you a little more about what we do. Our work with local and sustainable suppliers, partnerships with social enterprises and an insight of what goes on behind the scenes as Kitty.

Say hello to George

Come and say hello to our new bar manager George. Originally from Greece, George’s first experiences behind the bar came at local family business. As his knowledge of the industry grew he ventured to Rotterdam, Amsterdam and London where he developed a passion for cooking behind the bar. He’s now beginning to use these influences to put his stamp on the cocktail menu at Kitty. He thinks he can make the Bloody Mary around, so pull up a stool and you can be the judge. Check out our cocktail menu below

Supplier Profile: Natoora

We value the use of good quality fruit and veg on our menu, so it’s about time we highlight the great work done by our supplier Natoora. Working to combat issues faced in the food and drink industry they pledge to understand the seed, soil and season from everything they send our way. More recently, they have become a member of the Soil Association, one of the most prestigious organic certifying bodies in the UK. It’s for these  reasons that we are grateful to be there friends.

Belu Water

Our sustainable conscience goes beyond the work done in the kitchen, and extends to our water supplier Belu. They are an award-winning ethical business and leading social enterprise. Their work with us ensures, with the lowest carbon footprint possible.

They invest 100% of their net profits into WaterAid, the International development charity determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.

The Soap Co

We are proud to shout about is the one we have with Soap Co, Based in East London, they create bath and beauty products with sophisticated fragrances, minimalist design. But that’s not why we love them. As a social enterprise they carry a strong social and environmental ethos by providing training and work opportunities for people who are visually impaired, have disabilities or are otherwise disadvantaged. All profits go back into their business so that they can provide these opportunities and more like them.
